Well, finally I got time to write one of the most unusual experiences I have ever had. Well it all started with my poor performances in the 1st mid sem. I came here to improve and then…….
Then was the turn of ITWS3 registrations. The project we did in Summer was about to be tested by 150 students. Nervous na ……….
The portal started at 7 in the evening for the registrations and it sucked. There was a BuG………
Oops, I lost my team lost . Well, we send a mail to ug2 telling that the registrations have been cancelled and they will start at exactly 8 . When things start to go wrong, they do so in numbers. At the same time after I had send a mail for starting the registrations, one of the TA’s send a mail announcing the cancellations of registration for that day. Oh my god !!!
And then ….
I got around 70 mails regarding fairness of allocation of Projects ( Guess they were absolutely right). But then people started sending messages which I didn’t expect at all ( won’t mention here though).
We sat together, had a discussion about allocation and then came up with a new method where there would be a group leader who would register for his team.
It took us almost 7 hours to update the portal and then we had a dry run. Then came the next day, the registration day, to be honest I was very nervous, more than the people who were registering. The registration again started at 8 in the evening. Everything was going fine till something which shouldn’t have happened at all happened.
One of my friend found a Bug in the portal and it was a huge bug.
Huh ….things went misereably after that. I cried, had a fight and what not. And then the most unfortunate thing happened, Forum.
It was a pure shit by Ug2k6. A batch which I loved so much, I started hating it. Well the posts by the people were awful. Kept on blaming the admin. I wrote a mail to one of the person and he posted it on forum.
The next day was bit better. But I seriously went over all the things. I one thing I decided for sure, that I wouldn’t be the CR again. Second thing was that I wouldn’t participate in anything Ug2K6 organizes.
Guess life has become quite peaceful after that. I love myself.
Guess I now an more happy. I have started thinking about myself more. Just want to concentrate on this sem .
And one more thing, I got a paper accepted in an International Journal (HS Rocks).
I now am seriously looking myself. But there are something I would really like to suggest ….
1) People should be responsible for themselves.
2) Out of the 180 people in Ug2, 100 are politicians ( Quite a mark even though in the other sense)
3) I hope that Ug2k6 really breaks all the records in IIIT. I hope they successfully organize Carnival and Felicity ‘09.
4) Hope we get a gud coordinator and a strong team….
Well this is what I had to write , I hope the very best to Ug2K6…..

One thing i like abt this blog is the truth
1.100 Netas(U can even count me..)…..but u missed Netris…..Our batch is blessd with netris as well ..
2.People like to over react and want to show their importance SPCLY IN FRONT OF GIRLS…And they dnt even hesitate in making fun of others….
3.People in our batch who have talent are silent and who have nthng Litrally Spking Nthng wanna dominate…(How Ridiculous……..)
4.And yaa i accept our batch will create history in DOING JUST BC…..Nthng important. And people who attain smthng they are just an elemnt of mockery..
Example—Jairaj..Many wudnt be aware of tht he won first prize in robotics contest worth 18000..
5.Well u r My CR and i dnt need other….
6. One thing hurt me…U think u have less frens…Its not so dear..

lyf is rocky…not coz v r supposed 2 be crushed in it…coz v r supposed 2 find d brightness within by detritioning ourselves against these inescapable hindrances…nd wen such situ comes its not justified to refrain urself 4m bawling..bt wat is expected is dat u cry ur heart out…bt den think wat ‘it’ told u 2 be…which u were not ..bt u could be…4 d better…..so cheer up nd curb ur inclination 2 keep aloof 4m d further subsumes…nd yaa it was not a learnin experience 4 u only….many f us had d oppurtinity f knowin d course f reactions which can boil up in few minds f our wonderfull batch………..m naive in politics [:P][:P]so no comments regardin dat…..

Nice Blog … and the portal was awesome .
Hoping that the things will change in the near future .. I know the people being talked abt are not gonna change … but we can certainly decrease their dominance .. they were never appointed to lead us .. and we have to make sure they are not the ones to lead us without proper appointment .

you are right that we have hidden talents in our batch … but the field is so polluted now that nobody wants to indulge in that .. apart from the “FAKE LIMELIGHT” they get being there .
